With kitchens featuring chrome appliances, Britta has responded with a chrome product. In Europe, Britta sells pitchers in black; I was looking for a black pitcher at home in the United States, but could not locate one, so I saw this pitcher in chrome, and it fills the need. We have used Britta for years, primarily providing filtered water for brewing coffee. We drink two or more pots of coffee every day, and the Britta offers water without a taste of its own, allowing for consistency in coffee brewing.Customer Review: BRITA WATER PITCHER IN CHROME- SLEEK!

I DON'T KNOW HOW WE LIVED WITHOUT THE BRITA WATER PITCHER! OUR WATER TASTE GREAT FROM IT! THE FILTER IS EASY TO INSERT AND THE METER LETS YOU KNOW NOW MUCH LIFE THE FILTER HAS- EASY AS IT GETS. THE CHROME LOOKS NICE ON OUR TABLE, EVEN FOR GUESTS.WITH SOME PURCHASED STAINLESS BOTTLES, WE BUY ZERO BOTTLED WATER, EVEN FOR TRIPS. I USE IT FOR OUR DOG, GUINEA PIG AND HERMIT CRABS! I HAVE NOTICED OUR DOG DRINKS MORE WATER- HE KNEW ALL ALONG HOW BAD THE WATER WAS! TOO BAD HE COULDN'T TELL US! BUY ONE.Customer Review: Sleek-Handsome-Easy to Handle

I absolutely LOVE this pitcher. It is sleek looking enough, to leave
right out on the counter; if you prefer room temperature water like I do. The handle is all one piece. So, it doesn't split apart when
you are picking it up to pour/or refill. Very easy to handle, even
when it's completely full. And I like the fact that; all Brita pitchers use the same filters. So, I can keep one box of filters
on hand, for ALL my Brita pitchers. A-Plus on this one Brita !!!

We previously owned a large Brita dispenser which worked wonderfully but took up a lot of space in the refrigerator. We now use the chrome smart pitcher and it is perfect. My local supermarkets did not have the CHROME style Brita....only the white/clear ones. This pitcher pours well, and looks sleek with a contempo design. I'm very pleased. Takes up less space in the fridge than the old "round" design too.
