Customer Review: Why all the negative waves?

Having now purchased and used this pitcher since watching the absurdly transparent negative video review this morning, I can clear up most of the problems others have written about in one word: misalignment. If the filter slot is not aligned to the insert ridge, of course it won't seal and unfiltered water will leak into the bottom chamber. If the upper chamber is put in backwards, LIKE IN THE VIDEO, of course the top won't seal!!!
I have to say, however, that the old style pitcher had a larger space between the upper chamber insert and the spout so there was faster flow rate when pouring. That is why I give this product 4 stars; it could have been better. Actually 4 3/4 stars because it's a fairly trivial point.

Having used this pitcher for 12 days I changed my rating to 5 stars. This is a quality product I'm very happy with.

I love this pitcher. I chose the grand because it was one of the largest pitchers I could find. I prefer the pitcher to the Ultramax dispenser because it's easier to refill. After I poor a glass of water, I just immediately fill it up. A previous reviewer said it's easy to spill the water out the top because you have to wait for it to filter. All the pitchers I use don't instantly get all the water through the filter. It takes a little bit of time. If you're being heavy handed with it, then you'll spill. If you just lift and place in the fridge, you'll be fine. I like the digital tracker as well. I'm forgetful and until my water tastes terrible, I won't realize I need to change the filter. I've saved so much on water bottles and only need to buy a replacement every three months for about $14.00.
I highly recommend this filter.

Despite what some of the other reviewers have said, I have had no issues with leaking or spilling water from this pitcher. I have never once spilled water when trying to pour the water from pitcher. The pitcher is easy to fill and will hold a lot of water! The electronic indicator on the top of the pitcher is great so you don't have to try and remember when the filter was last changed.
Overall, this is a huge upgrade from the basic Brita filter that I had previously purchased, and I am so happy with my new Grand Brita Filter!

I have a few minor body "chemistry" issues, and all water from any faucet tasted somewhat bitter. For that reason, I hated to drink water...that is, until I bought a Brita! What a great product! I'm so happy with this product that I could kiss its makers!
Of course, drinking at least 48 oz. of water per day is essential to good health. Now, I can drink plenty of water without enduring that bitter taste. This has given me a new lease on life; and, already, my skin tone has improved. Wonderful!

This was purchased for use in a college dorm. Not only does it provide excellent drinking water, but it provides perfect water for brewing coffee. This was a great purchase. I would recommend it to anyone wanting fresh drinking water. All this without destroying the environment with all those plastic bottles too.
