Does what is says it will do (as far as I know, I mean. I'm not exactly testing my water each time before I drink it lol) and keeps the water from having that fresh-from-the-tap taste :P
Also, I like the slim design of this one. I've seen some that are rounder and bulkier. This one fits nicely in my fridge and leaves lots of room. Make sure you follow the instructions precisely because you will have those little floaties in your water the first 2-3 fill-ups and you don't want to catch yourself drinking that and thinking your filter is faulty. All in all, a good buy for the price. I'd recommend it.

i drink water a lot everyday. As a college freshman, i have spent lots of money to buy bottles of water this quarter. So, i decided to get a Brita. I wanted to get a big and slim one in order to store pretty much amount of water into refrigerator. When I got this Brita today, I was so impressed by its size, design, and function. The water as expected tastes like spring/mineral water, never tastes it as tap water. I feel it was the best choice to get a great Brita, neither too cheap one nor too expensive one.Customer Review: great!

We received this brita filter only 2-3 days after I placed an order on Amazon. It actaully
looked better than the picture on amazon. Quite slender, and holds enough water for the two of us.
I wish we didn't need to change the filter every two months, but I guess that is pretty standard.
One cute thing is that it comes with a calendar and labeler that go on the filter itself, so you can
always be reminded when the filter needs to be changed. I thought that was a cute touch.

The older model got broken - not sure how. it looked like this one but was slightly larger i believe. i never liked it, it was too heavy and was slower to filter. This Atlantis model is terrific: light, filters quickly WITHOUT ANY remains, so your water is pure, 100% pure and the bad taste is completely gone. i like it, it is elegant and lovely. i won't talk about how good the filter/pitcher invention is in general, but about the model itself. I have an original Brita filter with the handle that does not connect at the bottom. I have to say this design is much better because when you hold it by the handle it does not feel flimsy. The entire unit feels strong and well built. Filtration is done by gravity pushing the water so it does take around 3-4 minutes to completely fill. The water has always been perfect and I can not see the unit failing in any way.
